【旅行食運篇】English after Mandarin
旅人之於美食就像蜜蜂與花之間的關係。我們在美麗的景點之間遊走,美食就像花蜜一樣另人加深對於美景的印象。Gourmet to Travelers is like flowers to bees. We traverse among sites with breath-taking views. Gourmet is like honey adding flavors to our impressions of the beautiful sites.
在北義大利非常流行所謂的Aperitivo也就是開胃酒的意思。顧名思義,開胃酒當然要配下酒小菜。早些年因為當地作息的關係通常下班時間是六點半到七點半之間,人們會到有廚房的酒吧坐下點杯酒,稍微吃點廚房準備的小菜來墊墊肚子。八九點左右才會正式開始用餐。只是在近年來,小菜開始加碼無限量取用之外,還加入了容易吃飽的義大利麵或披薩。In north Italy, Aperitivo (drinks before meals) is da bomb. One can see the link between the name and its function. The drink acts as an appetizing drink. In the old time, because of Italy's siesta tradition, people would sit down in a bar with kitchen around 7ish and order a drink to go with a little side dish finger food before dinner. Dinner usually starts around 9ish. In recent years, the supply of side dish has increased in variety as well as how much you can eat (well, to be exact, it's all you can eat). Some stomach-filling food such as pasta and pizza show up in the selection frequently now as opposed to that of the old time.
酒類可以選擇甚多,一般會點些混有campari、vermouth 或是 Aperol(輕微酒精含有苦橙、龍膽、大黃、和金雞納的義大利專屬開胃酒)的調酒。當然啤酒也是降暑優良選擇。The selection of alcohol drinks is not possible to count. The often-ordered drinks are cocktails with campari, vermouth or Aperol (an Italian aperitif made of bitter orange, gentian, rhubarb, and cinchona among other ingredients). Of course, beer is always a good choice.
小管僅是點了一杯混有瑪格莉特和當季草莓的冰沙就可以大方地享用下圖中一系列的小菜。小菜會在酒吧內陳列。拿起旁邊的盤子就可以一盤接一盤地享用。一杯酒精性的飲料各地價格不等,從Turin的6歐,到佛羅倫斯的8歐,到米蘭的10歐。顏色五彩繽紛,光看就很開胃。Norman only ordered a cocktail/smoothie with margarita and in-season strawberries. And then, I became eligible to enjoy all the dishes posted below. The food is laid out inside the bar. Pick up a plate and enjoy the unlimited food. The price of the drinks varies from 6 euros in Turin to 8 euros in Florence to 10 euros in Milan. The colorful drinks are truly appetizing.
這裡的小菜大多以涼拌或輕食為主。尤其在橄欖油使用上非常頻繁(粉健康)。小管發現這一區之後就帶著好友們一起前往享受。幾個好友(其實是貴婦)像當地人一般地吃吃喝喝閒聊著,好不愜意。The dishes here are usually light food or marinated with olive oil, which is very healthy. After Norman found out this area with many many Aperitivo bars, I returned next day with my friends to join the locals eating and dining there. Quite a fabulous experience.
